Katrina Clark MPH, Executive Director – Katrina Clark has been guiding the Fair Haven Community Health Center since June of 1973. She has helped the clinic grow from a small free clinic to a well-respected and successful health care institution in the City of New Haven. For the past 35 years, Katrina has ensured that patients receive care in the context of their own community, workplace, school, and family. As a result, Fair Haven serves as a true community health center that provides care to thousands of families and individuals, who would not have access to primary care otherwise. |
Ivette Becerra-Ortiz APRN, Director of Operations – Ivette Becerra-Ortiz has been a clinician at Fair Haven since October of 2003. As Director of Operations, Ivette assures that Fair Haven complies with all state and federal regulatory agencies. She oversees a wide range of clinical operations, including information management, compliance and our satellite clinics. Additionally, Ivette continues to provide medical care for pediatric patients at the clinic. Her work helps the clinic serve the Fair Haven community, which would otherwise be an underserved area. |

Laurie Bridger MD, Medical Director – Dr. Laurie Bridger has been a clinician at Fair Haven for 16 years. As medical director, she oversees clinical care and manages quality improvement. Dr. Bridger ensures that the Fair Haven community receives quality care from high caliber clinical staff. |
Tracy Weber Tierney RN, Director of Patient Services –Tracy Weber Tierney has been a member of the Fair Haven staff since April of 2004. She works with several departments to promote clinical operations, patient flow, and patient care services. Additionally, Tracy oversees the nursing team, including clinical assistants, as well as the appointments department. Tracy is proud to be part of an organization that provides the highest quality comprehensive primary care available in the region. |

Bobbi Pace SPHR, Director of Human Resources – Bobbi Pace has worked at Fair Haven since 1997. As Director of Human resources, she supervises all personnel related issues. Ms. Pace ensures that Fair Haven is dedicated to hiring staff from the community we serve. She is also committed to developing a diverse staff to meet the growing needs of the clinic’s patient population. |

Kevin Baran MD, Department of Internal Medicine – Dr. Kevin Baran has been an internist at the Fair Haven Community Health Center since July 2007. The Department of Internal Medicine at the clinic is responsible for providing comprehensive primary health care to residents of the Fair Haven Community. As primary care doctors, continuity of care is paramount to their practice. Dr. Baran is proud to be part of a team of doctors who provide high quality care that is consistently above national and local standards of care. Additionally, Dr. Baran coordinates continuing education for the physicians at Fair Haven. |
Maria Mauldon APRN, Department of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants – As Chair of the Department of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, Maria Mauldon is head of the largest clinical department at Fair Haven. The APRNs and PAs serve at the main clinic as well as all of Fair Haven’s satellite sites. They practice in internal medicine, pediatrics, family practice, and adolescent medicine. Maria ensures that this department carries out Fair Haven’s mission of providing high-quality, personalized care to all of our patients. |

Laurel Shader MD, Department of Pediatrics – Dr. Laurel Shader has been a Pediatrician at Fair Haven since 1993. The Department of Pediatrics at Fair Haven typically cares for children from birth to age 18, although some patients are seen until age 21. In addition to comprehensive primary health care, Fair Haven serves as a medical home for kids with chronic medical conditions, and our staff helps to coordinate their care by specialty providers. Dr. Shader is proud to be part of a team that is open to trying new ways of providing family-centered care for our patients. |
Kate Mitcheom CNM, Department of Midwifery – Kate Mitcheom has been part of the Fair Haven family for 28 years. She has delivered the babies of mothers who she delivered when they were born. At Fair Haven, the midwifery team provides comprehensive gynecological and family planning services to adult women of all ages. Prenatal patients are also eligible to receive group prenatal care, and after birth, they are invited to join a Mom and Baby group. |

Betsy Suraci MS LPC NPC NCC, Department of Mental Health – Betsy Suraci has been working at Fair Haven for the past 22 years. She coordinates the clinic’s efforts to provide behavioral health as an integrated component of primary care. The Behavioral Health team at Fair Haven includes four full time and one part time master level behavioral health clinicians in addition to two consulting psychiatrists. |
