Donations
Approximately half our budget comes from reimbursement for services medical care and the balance comes from a mix of contracts for services, grants for specific programs, corporate support, foundation gifts, and individual donations. The donations we raise from individuals each year is crucial for many of our most critically needed programs. Services such as emergency social services outreach and translating, health education, care for HIV patients, support for the uninsured and new equipment depend almost exclusively on grant supports and gifts in order to continue. We definitely count on our friends and are grateful to you. |

If you would like to donate using a national non-profit, “JustGive” that charges @3% per transaction (the lowest fee we have found)* donate by clicking the JustGive button to the left

If you would like to donate through the Community Foundation of Greater New Haven- A local nonprofit that charges @5% per transaction*, donate by clicking the giveGreater button to the left.

* We believe the mission of both JustGive and giveGreater complements the work that our non-profit does. Both of these organizations have secure websites; and both have advanced the effectiveness of our fundraising efforts. If you prefer not to give on-line, you can always mail your credit card info to us and we will process the transaction through our finance department. It costs FHCHC @2.5% per transaction to process a donation via credit card – all of that money goes to the credit card company.

All donations support programs that directly help the patients. Your gift of any size can be dedicated to a specific program such as pre-natal care, well-baby care, Reach out and Read, care for the uninsured, adolescent services, social services, and health education.
Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Fair Haven is a 501(c)3 organization. |

We are pleased to announce our participation in a program that allows you and other community members to support the Fair Haven Community Health Center by making online purchases through CT Nonprofits ePlaza, a website created in conjunction with the Connecticut Association of Nonprofits, Fundlink LLC, and over 1,300 major retailers. |

You will be asked to designate the Fair Haven Community Health Center as the organization that will benefit from your shopping experience. Once the designation is made, you will be sent directly to the retailer of your choice to start shopping. |
